Back from the dead

The damnleet.com domain has been out of my control for over a year. It expired, someone else took it, it’s been showing ads for a year, and probably it didn’t generate enough income so they dropped it again. Tonight I randomly checked the WHOIS record and found it was available again, and it didn’t take much time for me to decide to register it again. DamnLeet.com is MINE =]

It’s now hosted on my very own server in the EasyNet datacenter in Amsterdam, from where it’s got a nice direct 100 mbit uplink to the rest of the world, along with a couple of other web things and some other stuff. So far this server has a nice 100,0% uptime, which is good news. For the next few days I’ll be setting up stuff here again, play around a bit with the design (leetness can’t just stick with a standard theme), create some pages/categories/whatever.

And yes, unfortunately the old site content is no more. Looks like I’m back at square one when it comes to writing stuff.

Also, commenting on posts is allowed, however I do require people to be logged in. Creating an account is fast, and this should reduce the massive amounts of spam comments I was getting on the old site. Nice people may even get the ability to make posts themself.

kthxbye
